Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. Last updated July 31, 2026.

What we do not collect

We have no accounts, no logins and no registration. We do not ask for your name, address, date of birth, banking details or identity documents, and we have no way to receive them. We do not process payments. If a page anywhere claims to take those things on our behalf, it is not us.

What we do collect

• Standard server and analytics data. Pages requested, approximate region, referring page, browser and device type, and timestamps. We use it in aggregate to see which pages are useful and whether the site works on real devices.
• Anything you send us. If you email the editorial address, we hold that message and your address in order to reply.

Identity documents you send an operator

We write about verification, and we never see anything you upload. Documents you send an operator go to that operator under its own privacy notice and its own licensing obligations, which is exactly the point our main page makes about which layer holds your data. We are not a party to that arrangement and cannot retrieve, correct or delete anything you have sent elsewhere. The operator's own privacy notice is where a retention period would appear if one exists.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

When you follow a link to an operator, that operator or its affiliate platform typically sets a cookie or passes a tracking parameter so a resulting signup is attributed to us. That is how we get paid. The data goes to the operator and its platform under their privacy policies, not ours, and we do not receive your personal details from it. We see aggregate counts, not who you are.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser. Doing so does not affect your ability to read anything here.

Third parties

We use a web host, and may use an analytics provider and a web font provider, each of which necessarily processes request data in order to serve the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Your rights

Under Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial legislation, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. In practice, for most readers the answer is that we hold nothing that identifies you. Requests go to [email protected].

Children

This site is for adults of legal gambling age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy, and the revision date above changes when we do.
