Safest Online Casinos Canada

How We Rank Trusted Online Casinos in Canada

Our ranking assesses a published record. Not atmosphere, not reputation, and not protection quality, because protection quality would require per-brand data we did not obtain.

What we score

  • Offer published in full. Whether the ceiling, the qualifying deposit and the wagering multiple all appear together. A match with no multiple is a term withheld and it costs position.
  • Entry bar. The minimum qualifying deposit, because it sets the cost of finding out how an operator handles verification and a withdrawal. Across our current lineup that runs from C$1 to C$45.
  • Terms dated. Whether we could attach a capture date to the figure we show. An undated figure has no shelf life.
  • Currency stated plainly. Figures in the currency the operator publishes. Two brands on our list publish in euros and stay in euros.
  • Absence reported. Whether a gap appears on the page as a gap rather than as an estimate. One brand carries no Canadian offer and its card says exactly that.

What we did not measure

  • Protection tooling at any brand. Not one limit, cool-off, timer or reality check was verified. This is why there is no protection column and no comparison table on this site: a table would imply data we do not hold, which would contradict the argument our main page makes.
  • Licence verification. No credential checked against an issuer, so no rating means an operator is licensed.
  • Payout speed. Not timed, so not ranked.
  • Game fairness. No game tested, no return percentages, no laboratory named.
  • Provincial availability. A deliberate omission.

Where a rating comes from

The score attached to each brand is our editorial judgement across those five criteria. It is an assessment of a published record rather than a measurement, and it is not a statement that a brand is safe.

When we revisit

Bonus terms and cashier menus change without notice, and the frameworks we cite are amended. We re-read the lineup's published terms on a rolling basis and date every figure. If an operator's cashier disagrees with what we show, the cashier is right and we are out of date, so tell us at [email protected].
